Victorian Bush Fire Appeal: Darling Harbor Dash

08/03/2009

Fridays are ussually my long run schedules and I thought of joining the Darling Harbor Dash which is organized by Michelle a Woodstock and cool running member for the Victorian bush fire.  I decided to run the Belrose fun run on Sunday so I will do a long run Friday no running on Saturday.

I left work at 515 to do a run before Michelle’s run, and from Pyrmont to Circular Quay to Mrs. mcQuarie’s chair, to the City, to Pyrmont Brdige and to the start of the run at Wharf 7 at Darling harbor, that made up 10KMs.  Only 8 of cool runners joined the event which is very disappointing and sad.  The route was 5 kms, I unintentionally did a short cut I was disoriented with the route and did around a 500m short.  And continued on to Harris street back to the end of it to the Pyrmont bay and finished at work and finished around 21 KMs that Friday.

Event: Darling Harbor Dash, Bush fire appeal
Location: Darling Harbor, Sydney
Distance: 4.5KM
Time: 23.24
